What You Should Know About Beach Diving in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale has incredible reefs within 500 feet from the beach (approximately 5 minute swim).
If you are doing a lobstering tour we will visit the 2^nd Band which is about ¼ mile from the beach (approximately a 20 minute swim).
The maximum depth of our beach dives is 30 feet, however most of our time spent scuba diving will be between depths of 10-20 feet.
Depending on weather conditions the currents and visibility are constantly changing, and it may not always be safe to dive. Dives can be canceled at any time for any reason by either myself or any of the divers under my supervision.
The total duration of the dive is approximately 1 to 2 hours underwater and depends entirely on the diver’s air consumption rate and comfort.
